Goals of the Minnie Cannon Scholarship Program
The Pari and Putnam Livermore Scholarship Program for the Minnie Cannon Elementary School has been in existence since 2011. By the end of 2021, 37 scholarships have been awarded. By 2022 the Livermores’ plan to have a total of 40 scholarships. Including the donations Pari Livermore has raised for the Minnie Cannon Scholarship Program, she has funded many other gifts for the children of Middletown. View these Special Projects.
With the exception of some generous donations contributed by Pari’s husband, all of the funds Pari has raised for Minnie Cannon have been the results of her matchmaking efforts. The nonprofit sponsors of the Minnie Cannon Elementary School Scholarship Program are Spotlight on Heroes through the California Study, The Minnie Cannon Elementary School Boosters and the Middletown High School Boosters.
In February 2019 Pari Livermore was honored to join with U.C. Berkeley to form the Berkeley Minnie Cannon Scholarship Program. U.C.Berkeley honored Pari for her charitable work, and pledged to fund college scholarships in perpetuity for students of the Minnie Cannon Elementary School in Middletown, California. Pari Livermore Supports California Education
Cultivating hope for deserving students across California is an integral aspect of Pari Livermore’s lifelong vision of serving others and taking action for positive change. Most notably, through the Minnie Cannon Scholarship Fund and generous donations to U.C. Berkley and the school at St. Francis Center, her philanthropic efforts have provided students with the finances necessary to pursue their dreams and aspirations. At the Minnie Cannon Elementary School, students compete in a variety of scholarship events in their respective fields to earn the Minnie Cannon Scholarships.
From science and rodeo to gardening and leadership awards, Pari Livermore’s influence at Minnie Cannon has left a legacy of compassion and financial opportunity for those in need. Since 2011, the Minnie Cannon Scholarship Fund has provided over 37 scholarships to bright young stars and students who have been accepted to Berkeley, intending to aid 40 students by 2022. In addition to the Minnie Cannon Scholarships, Pari actively empowers the students and residents of Middletown, California with support for community gardens, athletic equipment, and other kind gifts like books, instruments, tutoring, and more.
The Future Looks Bright for Minnie Cannon Elementary School
Thanks to U.C. Berkeley’s recognition of Pari Livermore’s support for California Education, Berkeley partnered with Pari to form the Berkeley Minnie Cannon Scholarship in 2019. Through the Berkeley Minnie Cannon Scholarship, the university has generously pledged to fund the deserving winners of the Minnie Cannon Elementary School scholarships in perpetuity.
Beyond the pride and spirit of generosity that results from these scholarship awards, Pari Livermore’s efforts at Minnie Cannon have taught the students of Minnie Cannon Elementary School a valuable lesson; dedication, kindness, and a willingness to help others are powerful forces worth pursuing.
Pari Livermore is a Top 10 Contributor to California Education
The ongoing philanthropic efforts of Pari Livermore have inspired change in the hearts and minds of every student she supports. Aside from the donations made by her late husband Putnam, all of Pari’s funding efforts are a direct result of her successful matchmaking career. As an author, television personality, and active fundraiser, her astounding track record of support for others is only the beginning.
