Since 2011, the Livermore Minnie Cannon Scholarship Program has raised funds for the following special projects:

• Landscaping for the Minnie Cannon School
• Playground equipment
• Music classes
• Self Defense Classes
• Poetry Classes
• Film Classes
• 2012 hours of Tutoring
• Two-day class for 6th Graders given by CBS Reporter and Documentarian. Camera equipment was donated to Minnie Cannon for use in future projects
• Science Camp Scholarships for Science Camp in Mendocino, CA
• Donation of Individual Books and CD’s for students to Study for the PSAT and SAT
• Career Mentorship Program
• Ipads with Rosetta Stone for non English speaking students
• Brass Instruments for the music department
• 1,000 library books for the New School Library donated by the Global Book Exchange
• Sports Equipment for Athletic Department
• Popcorn machine for the Minnie Cannon Lunch Room
• Sponsorship of the basketball team by the owner of the Sacramento Kings and co-owner of the Golden State Warriors
• Loan of owner’s Skybox from co-owner Vivek Ranadive for the Minnie Cannon Basketball Team and their coaches during Warriors playoff game, included a meal and special treats for all the kids
• Initiated Safe and Secure Program partnering with the Polly Klass Foundation
• Board games were donated to each child from Kindergarten through Third grade
• Books and games donated to each child in Grades 4th through 6th
• Bookcase full of new picture books for the Kindergarten students
• 1808 hours of hands on, one on one volunteering
• Seniors and Students Valentine’s Day Project. Homemade valentines, and personally wrapped boxes of candy were presented by Minnie Cannon students to the Seniors who attended the Valentine’s Day Luncheon at the Middletown Senior Center  read more
• 4H Contest
• Leadership Contest Assembly
• Food and Music for Mexican Independence Day events
• Planted over 33,000 Daffodils since 2011. Daffodil Days, where children and their families plant daffodils to help beautify the village of Middletown  read more
• Holiday Sing with students and the townspeople. Everyone in attendance was given refreshments, miniature poinsettias and a small box of See’s Candies
• Over $2,500 worth of School Supplies donated for the Teachers
• Professional Story Teller, Stuffed Animals and Stickers for the 2nd Grade
• Minnie Cannon Daffodil Day and Valentine Lunch T-shirts for the students
• Art contest
• Every December, Pari (and Putnam) have hosted a luncheon for the Scholarship Students to talk about their future. Afterwards, the kids have been allowed to select a holiday gift from Funtopia, the local toy store
• The University of California at Berkeley is now partnering with Pari to add an additional scholarship for Minnie Cannon students who are admitted to UC Berkeley.
